Full-Torque inserts repair the threaded holes that are used to bolt the wheels onto the largest mining trucks and loaders manufactured by Caterpillar. These massive machines produce the most demanding loads
possible on threaded fasteners.
Full-Torque special high performance inserts are made from 1144 Stress Proof steel. They are heat treated
harder and stronger than bolts used to mount the wheels. After installation of an FT insert, the bolt hole becomes stronger than the bolt.
