Use the FST "Shouldered, Through" inserts to fill in missing metal and to add hoop-strength around the bolt hole. The inserts are installed with a small portion of the shoulder left above the surface that will need to be machined off in most cases. They can also used to create a new flat surface around the bolt hole without machining of the excess shoulder.
Each insert is locked in place during the installation process to prevent it from ever turning. Each Basic Kit includes an installation kit for that size with everything you need to install the locking pin.
